SpeedTracs is excited to provide you with access to the new In-Season Football Curriculum now available on your software.
The SpeedTracs In-Season Program is a 20-25 minute program designed to be used 1 day per week so that your players can continue to "Play Fast" and maintain Speed & Agility during the season. The program should be implemented ~2-3 days after a Game Day. So, High Schools playing on Friday Night would add this program to the end of their Monday/Tuesday practice sessions.
During the workouts athletes will alternate between 10 and 20 yard sprint charges as well as exercises on the four key Speed Stations, Upper Body, Lower Body, Hip Flexors and Change of Direction.
"Components of Fitness, also known as Biomotor Abilities, are lost at different rates when not specifically trained. Speed is the first quality that begins to decline. I've often heard from players at all levels, "Coach, we were fast after an Off Season on the SpeedTracs program, but we could feel ourselves getting slower with each game during the season". Depending on the player's position during typical practices and games, they never come close to reaching maximum linear acceleration much less top speed running. Speed abilities can be maintained and even improved with a concentrated 20 - 25 minute session once per week."
