Gary grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and is a graduate of LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  While at LSU, Gary was a 4 year letterman on the football team as a cornerback & safety, including his starting role at safety for the #1 Defense in the SEC in 1995.  He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in Health Science with concentration in Biomechanics & Human Physiology. His academic honors at LSU include the U.S. Achievement Academy All-American Scholar Award, Academic All-Southeastern Conference, Director’s Cup Award, Hitachi Promise of Tomorrow Award, & LSU’s Dean’s List.  

Since graduating from LSU, Gary has served as a High School Strength & Speed Coach, Football Coach, & Head Track & Field Coach for 14 years. Gary included a stop as a graduate assistant on LSU’s football team from 1999-2000.  As a G.A. under Head Coach Gerry DiNardo, Gary assisted in the development of LSU’s wide receivers as well as all phases of Special Teams.  He’s currently serving as a BFS Certified Head Strength & Speed Coach at 6A Auburn High School as well as coaching football.  Gary served as the strength coach for the Auburn High School baseball team which won the 6A Baseball State Championship in 2009 and 2010, as well as assisting in developing Auburn High Football’s best season in school history with 2 undefeated regular seasons in 2008 & 2009.

Florida

Joseph "Foxx" Williamson

Ormond Beach, FL

 

Joseph Williamson also known as “Foxx” received his Bachelors of Science degree in Sports & Fitness Management and minors in Recreation & Health Promotion at TROY University. At TROY “Foxx” received All Conference Honors competing on the track & field team in the 400IH and 110HH in 2003. Foxx also played wide receiver for Mars Hill College before transferring to TROY in the spring of 2003. In 2006 Foxx trained under Master Trainer Loren Seagrave at Velocity Sports preparing for the 2006 NFL Combine before a car wreck the day before testing ended his football aspirations.

In 2007 he began working with Velocity Sports as a performance trainer using the same approach as World Renown Trainer Loren Seagrave. After receiving his degree in 2007 Foxx began working under another World Renown Trainer “Tony Villani” at XPE Sports. Learning speed and agility training methods from two great trainers, Foxx is able to use his expertise to integrate levels of training to help any athlete improve their Speed, Agility, and Explosion.  

In 2008 Foxx became “Speed Tracs”, (formerly Speed To Win) first Lead trainer. With Speed To Win, Foxx Managed Centennial High School helping them become one of the first successful speed training programs in the Georgia. He also assisted XPE Sports in training other area schools in North Fulton county.

In 2008 and 2009, Foxx worked closely with Tony Villani and the XPE staff to train athletes for the NFL Combine. Foxx also assisted training Pro athletes such as Wayne Gandy, Takeo Spikes, and others during their off-season training.

In Summer of 2009 Foxx partnered with Speed Tracs to become a representative of Central Florida. Foxx is now living in Ormond Beach Florida, were he is developing “Speed To Win of Central FL, LLC”.

Chad Lashley

Navarre, FL

Chad Lashley joined SpeedTracs as a Team Performance Coach in February 2012, after serving as a head football, baseball and weight lifting coach in Northwest Florida throughout the last 12 years. Coach Lashley spent the last four years as head football coach at Navarre High School in Navarre, Florida. During his tenure the Navarre Raiders set school records for wins in a season, play-off wins, consecutive wins in a row, points scored and appeared in Navarre high’s first trip to the FHSAA regional finals. Coach Lashley was named the WEAR-TV 3, Northwest Florida Daily News, and Pensacola News Journal Coach of the Year for the 2010 season.

Prior to becoming the head coach at Navarre, he served as the Raider’s offensive coordinator, strength, speed and agility coach. Coach Lashley also worked as an assistant coach at Niceville, Chipley and Northview High School. He began his career at his Alma Mater, Northview High School, as an assistant coach prior to serving as the head football coach for two seasons. He has served as speed, agility and conditioning coach at each school.

Coach Lashley recently completed his Master of Education from the University of Texas Arlington, and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida. He lettered in football at Charleston Southern University and was a member of the 1998 NJCAA National Championship baseball team while attending Jefferson Davis Community College.

Chad and his wife Amanda have three children; Taylor (8), Aden (5) and Gavin (4).

Georgia

Chris Davis

Stone Mountain, GA

Chris Davis, a former Duke All-American Football captain and graduate, has recently joined our SpeedTracs team as the Training Manager. He is the representative for our College and University accounts. Chris has an extensive background in athletics and sports performance and he can relate to the coach and player because he has experienced the field as a student athlete himself. He is certified through ACE (American Council on Exercise) and has trained under Chip Smith and Tony Villani, whom are both SpeedTracs master trainers. He was introduced to structured team training when he joined SpeedTracs in January 2010 as a contractor. After joining the team he studied the techniques of master trainer Loren Segrave, who developed the original SpeedTracs curriculum.  He continues to manage the training staff through Loren’s methodology of using the Speed Station with structured progressions to make coaches competent to train large groups in speed and agility. 

John Vann

Marietta, GA

John is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts, Criminal Justice and he has his Masters of Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, Devry University. John Was a Police Officer with Fulton County Police Department in Atlanta from 2000-2005 and then joined the Special Forces as Senior Engineer Sergeant, 5th Special Forces Group, US Army from 2005-2010.  He was responsible for training Host Nation partner forces in areas such as marksmanship, infantry tactics, and physical fitness during two deployments. 

In addition to serving as a Team Performance Coach, John also serves as the Operations Manager for SpeedTracs.

Simon Rosenbauer

Simon, a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University, joined SpeedTracs in June 2011. He has his Bachelor’s in General Studies with an emphasis on Exercise Science, Coaching Behavior, and Sociology.   Through his time at Georgia Southern and studying Kinesiology, Simon has become familiar with the importance of fitness and wellness within athletes and everyday individuals. Being an assistant coach at the middle school and the high school levels has provided him with the sport specific knowledge and valuable player/coach interaction.  

Nate Jackson

Atlanta, GA

Nate Jackson came to SpeedTracs in February 2012 from Southwest Florida.  He is a graduate of Fort Myers High School, where as a senior he helped lead the team to a Class 5A State Championship and #9 USA Today national ranking in soccer.  Nate went on to Florida Gulf Coast University and proceeded to get his Bachelor’s Degree in History.  Upon graduation Nate trained and coached young athletes in a variety sports.  He is a sports trivia and geography beast, roots for the Chicago Cubs and Detroit Lions and lives by the motto “I’ll never be picked last in anything.”  Nate’s focus at SpeedTracs is on Club Sports and Business Development and is excited about joining the SpeedTracs family.

Jon Crosby

Chicago, IL

Jon Crosby has spent the greater part of his professional career with Velocity Sports Performance.  Crosby is the initial hire of world-renowned coach Loren Seagrave for Velocity Sports Performance in Atlanta, GA in 1999.  Crosby also served as the Sports Performance Director of Velocity’s first franchise in Roswell, GA.  Crosby has been a strength coach at the University of Southern Mississippi from 1996-1997, a consultant with the Atlanta Falcons from 1999-2001 and  a consultant with USA Bobsled from 1999-2002 with the Bronze Medal winning four man USA Bobsled at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games.

Crosby has 15 years of experience in the Strength and Conditioning specializing in speed. His passion for training athletes in speed, strength, flexibility and movement, has led him to his involvement with various remarkable athletes.   Jon has helped numerous football players prepare for the NFL combine and pro timing days.  He has also trained current and former notable athletes from the NFL including:  Shannon Sharpe, Eddie George, Mo Lewis, Ray Lewis, Bryan Cox, Lethon Flowers, Tyrone Poole, Kordell Stewart, Jamal Anderson, Ken Irvin, and John Thierry. 

Jon thrives on helping athletes from various sports reach their full athletic potential.  He provides a tremendous amount of energy, knowledge and an invaluable passion for developing and improving athletic performance while reducing the risk of injury.
